Dr. Watras and Staff
Meet Dr. Watras:
Charles S. Watras M.D. is board certified in Family Medicine and has over 40 years of experience working closely with families to address their primary healthcare needs. Dr. Watras graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical School in 1975 and completed his residency at the Medical Center of Columbus Georgia. He has been a member of the American Medical Association for over 25 years, as well as the Southern Medical Association for over 35 years. Dr. Watras has been a diplomat of the American Academy of Family Practice for over 30 years.
Dr. and Mrs. Watras are natives of Mississippi, but moved to North Carolina in 1989. Dr. Watras now resides in Marble, NC with his wife, Frances, and dog, Ginger. They have four grown children, and two grandsons. Dr. Watras enjoys spending time with his family, travelling with his wife, reading, and gardening. His green thumb can be seen throughout his office with his many orchids that are on display.
